Throwback Thursday #8
Thanks to the girls at PinksandBlues, Thursday has become my favourite day of the week! I know I'm posting my Throwback Thursday photos a day early, but I just know I won't be able to post them tomorrow. I'll be teaching all day and then our ESL students have baseball and one of them has a birthday tomorrow and I'm trying to orchestrate a surprise birthday party for him. I think it will be special for him to celebrate his birthday while in Canada, don't you?Anyway, here is this week's installment of photos of yours truly.
Don't you just love how ladylike I am in the first photo? Oh, so classy! Not!

About the Blog Author
City girl moves to the country, falls in love, and marries a farmer. She tries to incorporate her city ways with her new country lifestyle and blogs to keep in touch with friends, family & students who live far, far away :) Can this city girl go country? Watch as she learns all sorts of exciting things about life on the farm and in a small rural community. *UPDATE* We are now parents! Our baby girl was born on Nov. 11, 2008 (at 28 weeks gestation- 12 weeks premature, but she's quite the trooper)!!!

Fun pictures. And that last photoshoped picture is really neat. Happy TT!!!
Christine, these photos are great! How awesome that you grew up so close to your cousins. And that you even had a surrogate sister in your younger cousin! :) So cute.
And don't worry - you are way ahead of me in Photoshop! I don't even know how to work it at all!
You're beautiful!
Shana:
Thanks! :) I'm off to check out your blog now! Happy TT!
DoggyMama:
Yes, I feel lucky to have so many 'brothers' and a 'sister' :) It's so hard living so far away from everyone. I often feel like I'm missing out so much by living so far away from everyone. They're all in Montreal and Toronto, which is 9 hrs and 6 hrs away from the Island.
Ms.Mamma:
Thank you :) I really, really (heart) you! LOL!
You were such a cute baby and the photoshopped picture came out AWESOME!
ps: I finally did my first Throwback Thursday, thanks to you. Thanks!
Pavel:
Oh, yay!!! I am sooooooooo excited that you've posted your first TT! I'm off to see it now! You're awesome!
Love all your baby pics Chrissy. They take me back to a time of innocence, when we didn't have computers!
The photoshop pic is cool!
You are so adorable in those early photos! And you still are! :)
Chrissy - I am up and running again!!
Have just done a new post. My blog is now called NZ Links.
Thank you for your encouragement.
Keep those TT pix coming - love them! My scanner and pix are currently hermetically sealed in my dustbin/house, so I can't TT this week, but I'm checking through my parents' condo for pix.
So, I'm DIGGIN' the photoshop artwork there! You're one step ahead of me, girl. I can barely spell photoshop!
Uncivil:
Thank you! :) Oh, and I remember a time when we didn't have the internet. My first computer didn't have a colour screen. It was black and amber and we had those huge floppy discs! Remember having to use DOS??? Too funny. My, how times have changed.
Dan:
Thank you! Thank you! You have got to be one of the nicest people ever! :)
mrinz:
Hooooooooray! I am sooooooooo happy to hear that! I missed your blog tremendously! So glad you're back!!!
Karen:
Tee hee! :) At least you get to look for lots of old pics. I'm sure you'll find some great ones at your parents' place!
As for Photoshop...I'm still rather green when it comes to doing any kind of manipulation or editing photos. There's so much I don't know about a lot of things! LOL!
There's a saying about how an intelligent person is one who can admit that he does not know a lot. I guess I must be super intelligent, since I know for a fact that I don't know a lot about a lot of things! LOL!
Very cute. Did you see Pavel's pic? I wish I was that cute. I looked like a sick beaver.
All the pics are cute Chris. The last one is really neat! How did you do that?
